WELCOME TO THE JOHN R. WOODEN CLASSIC
Each year some of the nation's premier men's college basketball teams compete in the John R. Wooden Classic at Honda Center.

Established in 1994, the Wooden Classic is an annual tribute to the legendary former coach (who passed away in 2010 at the age of 99) and the excellence he personified. The event, co-produced by Pantheon International, LLC and Anaheim Arena Management, LLC, has a tradition of bringing the nation’s finest college programs to Southern California.

The UCLA Bruins defeated the Arizona Wildcats in this year's edition of the Wooden Classic.
